Thanks for sharing so openly about your experiences in love. Your list inspired moments that felt like memories, only they couldn't be because I've never been where you now are. But maybe one day I will be.

There are the best posts I've read on PP!!!

Jules - You're welcome. I have a feeling that if you're open to experiencing love (and it sounds like you are!) you soon will. Thanks so much for your comment.

Tania - Thank you! That makes me feel great because these posts are obviously very close to my heart. Thank you for stopping by and leaving a comment.

Wow! What a great list of things that happen when you are in beautiful true love!
Yes, things like this happened to me as well, and I knew what you meant when I read all your list. :D
The one person that makes you feel wonderful, and so completely yourself, makes you a better you without changing what you are, brings out the best in you.. The feeling of being home when with him..
:) Such beautiful things..

> There's nothing like knowing that someone believes in you 100%.
Too true. While I'm a believer that you have to believe in yourself, it sure helps when somebody lifts you up, even if it's just because they expect a little more from you, than you expect from yourself.

I remember when you first began this blog how unsure you were of yourself and life. This post shows how much you've changed and the happiness you've found. You go!

Dani -- This is quite possibly my favorite post(s) of yours -- not only because they ring so true, to a lot of people, apparently, but because it's so wonderful to see you so happy, to see those lessons learned, and to see the love that you so deserve coming back to you. You are a very, very special person, and you deserve every ounce of it.

You inspire me -- love is the one thing that has alluded me. Oh, I know how to love -- in fact, I love so deeply, so much. But allowing that love to come back to me? That's the hard part, as I have some invisible shield set up, too afraid of it. But your words, your experiences, these lessons (especially this post) gives me hope. So thanks for that a million times over.

Wishing you all the happiness you could ever wish for!

"Love can make you do crazy, wild, unthinkable things, but it also has the power to make you into one of the kindest, most generous people in the world." That's perfect. :)

Athena - It's so wonderful to read that you too have experienced these lessons. Love is an amazing thing and I'm so fortunate to have learned so much from it lately!

J.D. - Yes, it really does help to have someone in your life who lifts you up. As you said -- it's important to have faith in yourself, but there's nothing quite like someone else believing in you.

Tess - Isn't it crazy how much has changed since I started writing Positively Present? Thank you so much for reading and for being a supportive force in my journey!

Susan - Thank you so much! I'm so happy to read that you liked the post as much as I liked writing it. I feel very fortunate to have found this love in my life and it's been so great to be able to share the experiences with my words. Letting love in and allowing yourself to experience it from others can be one of the most difficult lessons to learn (at least, it was for me!). I truly hope this post has inspired you and given you hope when it comes to love because letting love come back to you is well worth it (even it when in seems terrifying to let that shield down). Thanks for your comment and for your wishes of happiness. I'm sending that wish right back at you!

CC - I'm glad you liked that line. It's a very, very true one!

Thank you for this post. It was really a pleasure to read and I have to agree with you on many, many aspects. I especially loved how you noted that in true love, by being with that other person, you come closer to being you.

Ingrid - You're welcome! It's been an amazing experience and I'm happy that I've been able to share what I've learned here on Positively Present. Thanks for reading and commenting!

Magnificent post, thank you for share it your happiness ! I didn't know your website but I'm going to remedy it. I liked what and how you wrote, so pleasant...to read about True Love.. One day, I believe I met a "true" love (and "pure" soul) in a gaze's depth, which ended by a mutual smile. It was a beautiful and magical moment.

Waiting for shared love, thank you for wisdom, hope and inspiration. ;)
All the best, you deserve it.

Aurore - So exciting to get a comment all the way from France! I really appreciate you sharing your thoughts on this post here. Your words are wonderful and inspiring!

Great post and lots of important thoughts on love. I have learned that love means letting others be who they are, not who I want them to be.

Syd - So true. Loving really is about acceptance and not wanting someone to be something other than what they are.

Thank you so much for these so very recognisable words. I can relate to every one of them. I am deeply in love with an amazing angel who is sadly quite ill and far away from me at this moment but every word you wrote rings like a bell.

Yes, it IS true, when you find that kind of love, you KNOW it. Despite whatever may conspire against it, despite what others may say and no matter how daunting the way ahead may seem, true love is always worth fighting for and giving everything.

Jan - Thank you for your comment! I'm so glad you were able to relate to this post and experience some of the same things I have. Love can be an amazing thing and a true love is always worth fighting for -- no matter what. I hope your loved one gets better soon and you are somehow brought closer together again.
