Thanks for the thoughtful post. You don't expect sending your teen to a midnight movie to be a dangerous activity. Your suggestions for finding hope by noticing the kindness of others and being grateful are on target. I find writing and sharing what I am thankful for even on bleak days to be helpful in focusing on what is good in my life!

Linda - You're welcome. I agree - writing down what you're thankful for really helps us to have hope in our lives. Stay hopeful!

This is a very nice and uplifting article, I'm going to share this in our group's Facebook page. This will be very helpful for some of our members who are in the US and also other people to encourage them.

Thanks for this one!

Rhenand - Thank you. I'm glad you enjoyed this article. Thank you for sharing it with your Facebook group!

A wonderful article. Thank you Dani.
We can make a difference in so many ways. This article is only one example.
It's also great to write to media outlets after seeing an inspiring story & thanking them, letting them know we want more of that.
Just smiling or chatting to someone in the check-out at the shops is a way to connect day-to-day. We never know the difference we make with even our smallest acts of random kindness.
Never underestimate that "butterfly effect". :)
Cheers,
Thea

Thea - Thank you! It makes me happy to know that you thought the article was wonderful. I love your point about using the "butterfly effect" in a positive way. Small acts of kindness can have huge impacts.
